PUBLIC RECORDS


Starting in Boerum Hill Brooklyn, Public Records is perfect If, for your brunch, you crave anything vegan. The menu has everything from gnocchi to tacos to salads and toast options along with a wide wine and beer selection. The restaurant often plays music and hosts events, as its mission is to explore cultures through music and unify communities through sound. As the season turns warmer, there will be both indoor and outdoor seating options to explore.

Carthage Must Be Destroyed  


This restaurant, in a hidden warehouse, recently opened. Located in East Williamsburg/ Bushwick, it has great healthy options to jump start your perfect start to a chill weekend. The menu holds anything coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and more that your heart could desire to accompany your main dish. And did I mention the interior is very pink? It’s a fantastic way to continue celebrating women’s history from last month.

Fluffy’s NYC  


With Smorgasbord (in Williamsburg) opening back up this month, celebrate National brunch month on Saturdays 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. with Fluffy’s pancakes. Named after its take on the widely popular Asian style souffle pancakes, its name also describes the consistency of the pancakes. This iconic duo of American and Asian cultures should be on your list. We look forward to seeing where they set up a permanent location in the future. 

Dawa  


Many often forget Queens, but we did not. Dawa offers great authentic nomadic Himalayan and New American cuisine. This small family-owned business has the reputation of being a warm and relaxing setting. Along with the great vibes, it uses locally farmed ingredients in an environmentally conscious setting that supports local farmers and artists. With the many vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options there is something for everyone to love here and support Dawa’s  mission.

Lido


Named after Lido di Venezio, the famous beach in Italy where many fashion icons throughout history and The Venice Film Festival all happened, the food is memorable and delicious. The atmosphere is elegant but homey, ramping up its charming Italian atmosphere. It is situated perfectly on a bustling corner of Harlem’s Restaurant Row by Columbia University. And with its $18 bottomless brunch, it makes a wonderful place to enjoy brunch with groups.

Don’t let the price fool you, this $55 for 90 minutes brunch deal includes unlimited brunch plates as well as free-flowing brunch cocktails or a $45 deal for bottomless brunch plates only. Mom’s Kitchen & Bar  


Getting a late start to the day? This might be your place since it serves brunch, adult beverages, and  “bigmouth” shakes all day. Located in Midtown, the restaurant has a diverse menu of comfort food from mac and cheese pancakes to traditional items like shrimp and cheesy grits. Truly making it feel like you're at home with your mom’s cooking.

The Wilson


If you are searching for a nicer restaurant experience, the Wilson, which serves northeastern costal cuisine and seasonally inspired cocktails, may be your place. The Wilson in Chelsea has a $45 bottomless brunch for 90 minutes as well as its very own dog menu. Yes, you heard that right. Bring your puppy along for options from grilled steak to pup-sicles. There is quite literally everything to anyone on the menu. 

Veselka  


This Ukrainian hot spot in East Village has been around 1954 and is the place to get pierogies and matzoh balls. Even though it opens early in the morning, you’ll often see people waiting in line for the anticipated opening. If that doesn’t convince you that it’s a fan favorite, right now the restaurant donates all of the proceeds from its borscht sales in-store, take-out, and gold belly to support Ukraine. The restaurant also collects relief donations from socks to band aids, so start your day with some good food and good intentions. 

Café Cluny  


In the West Village you can find this fancy brunch spot. This elegant and classy menu consists of items, including brioche bun sandwiches, bacon, and oysters. Afterwards, work off your meal by walking a few blocks to the iconic apartment of Carrie Bradshaw.

Citizens of Soho  


For its fresh Australian cuisine, head to Citizens of Soho. There is an all-day “brekkie” with a wide variety of healthy options as well as drink options such as Aussie spiked iced tea. There are four other locations across New York City from Chelsea, Gramercy, to Bleecker.

It’s true that New York is a dog-loving haven, so naturally Hair of the Dog in the Lower East Side is a fan favorite spot. To celebrate national brunch month, take part in their $35 bottomless brunch of mimosas, bloody Mary’s, or draft beer in a fun-loving atmosphere for dogs. Dogs are encouraged to enjoy great music and brunch deals with you. They sometimes hold events where you can come and meet dogs that are looking to be adopted and fostered.

Elysian Café is the oldest bar and restaurant in Hoboken fully operating today. The classic brunch menu of French toast, the fan favorite chicken sandwich, huge French fries, and multiple egg options makes it no surprise that it has stuck around this long. The French bistro style menu and ambiance makes it a perfect afternoon treat for yourself.  

Uncle Momo  


If you’re looking for some fresh Lebanese fair, Uncle Momo in Jersey City is the place for you. There is everything from spinach and Swiss cheese crepes to chicken shish kababs. The atmosphere is a cute and warm bistro and it has great options for indoor and outdoor seating. The cute outdoor seating makes it perfect for having brunch on a sunny day.
