If you haven't seen this movie... you MUST. It's a rom com and a holiday movie mixed, which is perfect for the month of December when you just want to curl up and drink some hot chocolate. The movie is about two women, Amanda and Iris, who have men troubles and house swap between L.A. and London. They later fall in love and find themselves again.

1. This soundtrack is actually really good.

Definitely putting Beauty in the Breakdown on my playlists in spotify.

2. OMG tears... the old man looking at his wife on the bed side is adorable and so tragic.

I just KNOW I'm gonna love this man the whole time.

3. Don't stay friends with an ex that cheated on you... even if it was "love." But still be civil.

Stay classy, and stay far away. You broke up for a reason!

4. Going across seas to get over an ex is a wonderful idea.

Traveling is just always a good idea.

5. I feel bad for Iris who is hopelessly in love with her ex.

At least she knows she needs to get over it. And traveling, meeting new people making you feel worthwhile again, and eating fettuccini is a great start.

6. Maybe I should live in a cottage outside London when older.

This or in Vermont by the mountains, or Colorado by the mountains. Basically anywhere calm and beautiful and has all four seasons where I can have many dogs living with me.

7. Why is Amanda LITERALLY me with relationships... and in general.

LITERAAALLLLYYYYY ME. Hi, Amanda my name is Caroline and I relate to you so much. *Doesn't cry over ex* *Is awkward* *Calms down in four seconds* *Spontaneously travels* *Too committed to work* *Loves red wine - only in foreign countries of course* *Jams to Mr. Brightside*

8. This whole house swap thing is really cool and I will definitly be a part of it when older.

When I have my own house, own job, own dog. And may I say... this is when I'll be super successful and a thin, half-marathon, running, woman.

9. I could definitly not drive on the other side of the road.

I am always the go to driver for my friends though. Especially with parallel parking I might add. But still, no matter how focused and determined, this driving on the other side of the road, is drawing the line.

10. Mr. Brightside is always a perfect anthem.

@ Paige and @ Tillie, if you know, you know.

11. Jude Law in this movie is SOOO perfect. Wowza.

His personality first of all, super sweet guy, interesting, INTELLIGENT, funny, and driven. Has an accent and extensive vocabulary!?! A plus. Eyes, SO blue. Jaw line. Curly, short (but not too short) shaggy, dark brown, hair. HIS STYLE!!! Classy, European mens' style >>> Can more men bring this back to the states?? ALSO his glasses, he looks VERY good in glasses. I'm melting writing this. Find me a man like this.

12. To be successful with work, you must get a good night's sleep. Amanda clearly takes her sleep very seriously - sleep mask and sleep shades.

Dad please let me sleep in now that you've read this, I'm trying to be successful.

13. THANK GOD she goes back. I'm rooting for this potential couple so hard.

SO HARD.

14. THIS OLD MAN is TOO cute. Found out his name is Arthur.

What better "meet cute" than Arthur and Iris.

15. "Be the leading lady of your own life, not the best friend"

Another quote added to my notes... by Arthur.

16. Jude Law / Graham has perfect teeth too.

AND a laugh. And the way he looks at Amanda, THE WAY EVERY GIRL WANTS TO BE LOOKED AT. MAYBE love is real.

17. Strong and successful women, be one.

Be an Amanda, and / or Iris within these two weeks.

18. Just because the man you're seeing has other girls texting or calling him, doesn't mean you should assume he's cheating / dating mutliple people at a time / don't assume the worst.

In this case Sophie and Olivia are Jude's (Graham's) daughters. AKA something completely innocent. Which YAY, he's a good guy. Amanda deserves that. And to add, he's super good with kids. Another plus, another reason I love this character.

19. Five marshmallows is the best amount for hot chocolate.

Although, The tiny marshmallows from Nestle packets are the best though, don't @ me.

20. If you put someone on hold during a telephone conversation, be careful what you say between the switches.

You may accidentaly keep repeating to Amanda what you should be yelling at your brother (Iris and Graham) about. AKA sleeping with the girl house swapping with you.

21. I need to watch, The Graduate.

22. YES IRIS YOU GO GIRL! GET RID OF THAT TRASH CAN OF A MAN!!!

Girl power. What man flys half way across the world to see his ex, Iris, while still engaged to his new girl, allllll because he doesn't want to *loose* his ex. Unfair to her, unfair to the fiance. This man needs to get his morals straight, and I hope the fiance ends it with him.

23. Amanda has the best outfits in this movie.

Since minute one, simple, chic, cute, style. One of Graham's daughters says, "You look like my Barbie." The daughters clearly like Amanda's clothing choices too.

24. IM CRYING, YOU'RE CRYING, AMANDA'S CRYING, RUN AMANDA, RUN. OMG, Graham cries too.

Adorable. They are perfect, and Graham/ Jude is my perfect guy WOW.

25. Aw now everyone's dancing. It's a new year and things are wonderful and merry...very merry.

Also, loving the fact that if Graham and Amanda ever marry, Iris and Amanda will be sisters in law. Definitely going to watch this movie again like ten other times.

XOXO,

~M~
